Sponsorwise is proud to present the following brief biographies of the members of our Management Team.

Burt Cummings, CEO
Burt was an independent marketing consultant prior to joining Sponsorwise, working with companies to identify and market solutions in the technology marketplace. Prior to that, Burt was a co-founder and CEO of GoCampus, Inc., a startup company focused on delivering an ASP solution to college campuses allowing them to develop e-newsletters targeted to individual faculty, alumni, parents and students. Burt has also held the position of VP and GM of Brand Dialogue, the interactive arm for Young & Rubicam, transitioning to that job from Executive Director for Interactive, Landor Associates (a Y&R company) wherein he oversaw the creation and branding of commercial web sites for Fortune 500 customers. He was formerly head of sales and marketing for Higher Education at Apple Computer, Inc., as well as at Eagle River Interactive. Burt was also Director of Sales Programs at NeXT. Burt graduated cum laude from UC San Diego with a BS in Computer Science.

Mark Soloway, Chief Technical Officer
Mark Soloway was most recently the VP, Engineering and Product Development at Log Savvy Corporation, a business intelligence analytics start-up in Berkeley, CA. He has been successfully developing and delivering software for over 20 years in a variety of senior engineering, management and executive roles. He is also on the Board of Directors of Sponsorwise. Previous to Log Savvy, Mark led a team of over 50 developers spread across five locations on three continents while at Frontrange. He had previously served at Actuate Corp. [NASDAQ: ACTU] as Chief Server Architect, Director of Server Technology and Principal Engineer from before the first release of the Actuate Report Server through the company's IPO and beyond. Mark was also an engineer and manager at Sun, Fairchild/Schlumberger, Valisys and Dawn Technologies. Mark earned his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with High Honors at UC Berkeley, his MS in Electrical Engineering at Stanford and his MBA through American Intercontinental University while also working full time.

Tony Calleja, CFO
Tony is a seasoned financial executive, general manager and company founder who brings to Sponsorwise extensive private and public company experience, including IPO and M&A execution in multiple sectors of the technology industry. He was a co-founder and served as President and as CFO of Vado, Inc., a leading Bay Area specialty technology staffing company. Tony was previously VP Finance & Corporate Controller at bamboo.com where he created and executed policy, handled SEC filings and audits through its private VC financing rounds, its IPO and the subsequent merger that created Internet Pictures Corp. [NASDAQ: IPIX]. Prior to bamboo.com, Tony held multiple finance positions over the course of 15 years at MCI and National Semiconductor. He was an early angel investor and advisor to Addamark Technologies (now called SenSage). Tony holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a BS in Accounting from San Jose State University.

Alex Alishoev, Vice President, Engineering
Alex has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, the last 6 years as a senior-level manager. He was one of the key developers (number nine) at Actuate, a successful enterprise business intelligence company generating over $100MM in sales. Alex was a Senior Developer at PeopleSoft creating complex enterprise-class user interfaces. Alex held several Engineering management positions at FrontRange developing enterprise CRM applications that were localized in 9 languages and helped FrontRange generate over $100MM in sales. Alex was a Senior Manager of Development, Policy Management (PM), and Corporate Systems at Esurance, responsible for all aspects of development and support of the PM part of Esurance’s high-traffic web site that generated over $800MM in annual sales. He was a Director of Engineering at IAS, the global leader providing data-enabled equipment management and tracking services (as a SaaS) for the container transport industry, supervising several distributed development and QA teams in US, India and Russia. Alex has a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics, from Moscow Research and Development Institute of Electrical Thermal Equipment.
